A few weekends ago we headed to Wimberley for our 1st Anniversary.
This trip was so unplanned and last minute but it was great because we just went and did whatever we wanted!

This is the B & B we stayed in and it was absolutely wonderful!
We didn't have very high expectations because we booked so last minute but we were pleasantly surprised!

The outdoor space was the best part! There was seating everywhere on the patio & along the creek.
As you can see, I got a good nap in along the creek while Nathan read a book!
Wimberley was not lacking in interesting people to watch. We were thoroughly entertained by the locals…
I could post some videos we got of some locals as well but I won't even go there...
We visited an Olive Tree Farm/Vineyard...not all it was cracked up to be but we still had fun!
And we visited a Bonsai Exhibit which was completely random but actually fairly interesting and informative. Learned we didn't really know what a Bonsai technically was...I'm pretty sure Nathan is ready to start growing his own soon....we shall see!

Glad you guys had a good weekend getaway. The locals are interesting. I lived there the first 12 years of my life and would love to go back for a visit to see how things have changed.
