My name is Paige.
I grew up with lots of girls.
I love to cook.
I love photography, shopping, decorating…you know, typical girl stuff.
Sweets are my weakness. (Unfortunately my sister is a pastry chef...)
I have the most wonderful sisters & parents a girl could ask for.
His name is Nathan.
He grew up with lots of boys.
He loves that I love to cook (it was in his criteria for finding a wife---I passed!)
He loves fishing, hunting, sports…you know, typical boy stuff.
He is constantly full of energy.
He is always scheming about new business ideas.
He is my biggest encourager.

We are best friends.
We love the Lord.
We love our family.
We enjoy remodeling houses. (And surprisingly, we haven’t killed each other yet!)
We love our niece and our 2 nephews. (Nephew #3 will be here in July!)
We are sarcastic and Nathan is known for brutal honesty.
(Just ask my Mom…he has no problem letting her know if a recipe is “not worth the trouble”)
How We Met
Where: Bruce Bolick’s Intro to Quantitative Methods Class on Day 1 of my freshman year of college.
Encounter #2: We moved classrooms. He conveniently picked the seat behind mine…uh huh.
Encounter #3: He picked on me after I got called up the board to do a problem and made a fool of myself.
Encounter #4: He offered to give me a ride to my dorm. I politely declined. My parents taught me not to ride with strangers…especially punk athletes in loud mustangs.
Somewhere in between we stalked each other on Facebook and eventually he added me, started messaging me, and got my phone number. I’m not sure how but I didn’t think much of him getting my number and wasn’t waiting around for him to call. So much so that when he did call, I didn’t know who it was. It went something like this:
Him: Hey, this is Nathan.
Me: Long silence as I wonder who the heck Nathan is. After what I’m sure seemed like forever for him, I respond, “Nathan who?”
Him: Nathan Meyer….from class.
It finally clicked and he worked up the courage to ask me to go see Balls of Fury with him.
I said yes. Why I said yes to go on a date to see a movie called Balls of Fury…no clue! Still don’t know...
He apologized the whole entire movie because it was terrible.
I got up to go to the bathroom & he was sure I wouldn’t come back.
But I did and almost 4 years later, here we are…still laughing about our terrible first date & loving each other more & more every day!
