Life has been a bit hectic this past week so I apologize for the delayed post. I intended to make a congratulatory post to Nathan's cousin Steven who proposed to his girlfriend Nicole the night before our shower last weekend but it didn't happen. So....Congrats! Nathan & I really could not be happier for these two. It was so much fun to be a part of their surprise midnight proposal! Here are a few pics for you to enjoy of their proposal!

Too cute!

Now as far as the hectic week goes...here's the scoop. I was running errands at work last Tuesday when I got hit by a tank. Yes, it was a tank---'78 Chevy Suburban! Basically I was exiting off of the highway and he didn't yield to me and well...you can see the rest for yourself in the pictures! It was loads of fun, let me tell you.... Everyone was fine but whole process is more inconvenient than anything. Don't these people know I have a wedding in 2 1/2 weeks! Geez! It was hilarious because Robyn, a good friend of mine made sure to ask if all the presents I was toting around in the car were ok! All you can do is laugh in times like this so thanks Robyn!!
My poor Car...
...the tank that hit me!
It was pretty much an act of congress to even get a rental car. I feel sorry for the guy at Enterprise because he had to deal with my almost meltdown when he told me I couldn't rent a car because I wasn't 21(Keep in mind, I was turning 21 ten days from this point) ....luckily I held back the tears and tried to walk out calmy! Anyways, with all that said I had to drive to Brenham in my beat up Pathfinder in order to get a rental car from the Brenham Enterprise branch who gave me absolutely no problem at all! I am now driving a 4 door Chevy Silverado---Yep, I officially feel like a country girl (although not exactly by choice...I wanted the new black Tahoe they had but they said it was already reserved) Despite the hassle, all I can do is be thankful everyone was ok considering the outcome of my sister's car accident in March.
Despite feeling completely out of character there are perks to having a massive truck...especially when Round Top is going on ;) I found way too many great buys...2 truckloads to be exact. I know, it's terrible and I should be ashamed of myself! I think I felt like I had to buy more since I missed Round Top in the Spring because someone had to go and break their arms...haha(I can only say that jokingly now that Haley is completely healed after her accident! Love you!) Either way I still spent too much but my house is going to look fabulous when all of the wedding business is over and I actually have time to decorate!
One of my awesome finds that might soon appear at the wedding ;)
Mom wishing she could buy this!
Random --- We got this gift in the mail the other day! Gotta love the baby paper cushioning our WEDDING gift! I thought it was funny...
Until my next post, keep counting down. Only 17 more days!!!!
